With strong engineering expertise and a commitment to international standards, the company is among the leading firms that realize stadiums, sports complexes, padel courts, gymnasiums, and athletics facilities that meet the requirements of global authorities such as FIFA, UEFA, FIP, and World Athletics.
One of the standout examples of this expertise is the Akii-Bua Olympic Sports Complex, currently under construction in Lira, Uganda. In this project, which we have undertaken as a subcontractor, Integral is actively carrying out the hybrid grass installation, athletics track, and surrounding sports infrastructure of this 20,000-seat stadium, transforming the project into a fully equipped multi-purpose sports complex. The high-strength galvanized steel structural elements used in the project are supplied from Turkey, elevating quality and safety standards to the highest level.
Within an approximate construction area of 31,000 m² and a 12-month project schedule, Integral is continuing the construction of critical facilities such as a hybrid grass stadium field, World Athletics Class 1 running tracks, and high-performance training areas. The project also includes artificial turf training fields, acrylic tennis courts, multi-purpose courts, and squash courts. Upon completion, it will offer a comprehensive sports ecosystem.
Planned to be completed in July 2026, the Akii-Bua Olympic Sports Complex also holds great importance for the African continent as one of the key stadiums that will host the AFCON 2027 tournament. This project is not just a sports facility; it represents a critical step in contributing to the development of sports in Africa and in establishing infrastructure capable of hosting international organizations.
